Veterinary Assistant

Hello. My name is Laurel and I work here at CAH as a kennel assistant and a vet assistant. I grew up on a small farm, which is where my love of animals comes from. We had horses, cows, a donkey, pigs, ducks, and turkeys. Of course, we always had a dog or two running around. I love being outdoors. You will always catch me with a fishing pole in hand and hopefully something at the end of the line. I have 3 dogs and 2 cats. Nukem thinks he is human, Kimchi is part hyena (jokingly, of course). Crip and Olive, my cats, are always bringing gifts to the door and they rule the roost. I have learned a lot working here and love the reward of being able to care and give affection to the many pets that come to CAH.
